The Caribbean chain is known for its “expertly roasted coffee” and is named after the Blue Mountains of Jamaica.

It already has locations in Maidstone, Bromley and Hempstead Valley in Gillingham.

Now its latest branch is set to open soon in the upper mall, with all-day eats using “fresh, premium” ingredients.

Franchise development executive at Foodco UK, Michael Johnson, said: “Bringing Jamaica Blue to Royal Victoria Place in Tunbridge Wells is an exciting step for us.

Another addition to the shopping centre is Kochi Café which aims to offer a “fresh and unique” dessert experience.

Inspired by a French soufflé, the pancakes were refined in Japan and have now been brought to the UK.

Alongside signature pancakes in a range of flavours, it offers speciality drinks, including Strawberry Matcha and flavoured lattes.

The café director, Vito Yu, explained the business would be working with local farmers to ensure the freshest ingredients and will provide a seasonal menu.

Three other independent retailers are also joining the nearby Ely Court in the town centre.
