One of the country’s best-known grime artists is about to shake things up on the Kent coast.
Dizzee Rascal, who now lives in Sevenoaks, is heading to Margate’s Dreamland as part of the venue’s Summer Series, a string of outdoor concerts taking place at the vintage fairground.

The rapper, who burst onto the music scene with his debut album, Boy in da Corner, in 2003, has since scored four No. 1 singles and five Top 10 albums.
The artist, whose real name is Dylan Kwabena Mills, is known for anthems such as Dance Wiv Me, Bonkers and Bassline Junkie.
He was due to play a free beachfront show in Margate in May, but the event was axed after complaints from the council just hours before it was set to begin.
The Mercury Prize winner has worked with artists such as Calvin Harris, Arctic Monkeys, Shakira and Robbie Williams and is recognised as one of the UK’s most successful grime artists.

For his Dreamland concert, the seven-time BRIT nominee will be supported by Mike Skinner of The Streets.
The singer, who now performs as a solo artist, will be putting on a DJ set with anthems from a mix of genres, including old-school hip-hop, drum and bass and dance.
Music producer and multi-instrumentalist DJ Badger will also take to the stage ahead of the main act.
Dizzee Rascal will be at Dreamland in Margate on Friday, August 29. You can book tickets online here.
Doors open at 5.30pm and last entry is at 9pm. No under 18s will be permitted to enter.
