Horror icon Michael Myers will return to Haddonfield in 2026 with Halloween, a new asymmetric stealth horror game from IllFonic, co-published by Gun Interactive. The game will launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
A New Stealth Horror Experience
The game adapts John Carpenter’s classic horror, transforming it into a tense, one-versus-many survival challenge. Players can become Michael Myers, hunting citizens of Haddonfield, or take on the role of Civilians trying to protect the town. Every match demands strategy, quick thinking, and sharp instincts.
Playing as Civilians
As Civilians, players must move through shadows, warn residents, and search for ways to alert the authorities. Finding safety is never easy, especially as Michael Myers works to silence phone lines and plunge Haddonfield deeper into fear. Survival depends on stealth and decisive action.
Becoming Michael Myers
Wearing the iconic mask, players step into the role of the slasher himself. Every corner offers a chance to stalk unsuspecting townsfolk. With the ability to disable communication and track victims in the dark, Michael Myers becomes the unstoppable terror of Halloween night.
Story, Offline and Online Modes
The game offers solo story mode, offline matches against bots, and online multiplayer. Each mode builds tension with mechanics that reward patience, precision, and cunning. Whether playing alone or with others, players must adapt to survive or succeed in the hunt.
Authentic Atmosphere
IllFonic has recreated Haddonfield with chilling detail. Multiple maps feature authentic locations from the original film, complete with a haunting score inspired by Carpenter’s soundtrack. The game stays faithful to the eerie tone of the classic film, bringing terror to a new generation while satisfying long-time fans.
Halloween will unleash Michael Myers onto Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and Epic Game Stores in 2026.
