FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek is celebrating a major milestone: 16 first-place wins in Casino Player Magazine’s Best of Gaming 2025 Native Midwest awards. The recognition comes as the casino marks its 16th anniversary, underscoring its reputation as a top destination for gaming, hospitality and entertainment.

The wins span categories from Best Overall Gaming Resort to Best Blackjack, according to a community announcement. FireKeepers also earned top honors for its rooms, sportsbook, poker room and players club, among others.

Recent updates across the property helped secure the awards, according to the announcement. The newly expanded poker room features 21 tables and modern amenities, while Bonus Spin Xtreme — a progressive side bet available on poker and table games — adds extra excitement to each hand.

Renovated rooms in the original hotel tower now match the sleek style of the second tower, offering refreshed accommodations. A themed slot area near the Event Center and new games throughout the casino floor continue to enhance the guest experience.

“This year’s awards celebrate not only our continued commitment to excellence but also the incredible journey we’ve shared with our guests and team over 16 great years,” said Frank Tecumseh, CEO at FireKeepers Casino Hotel.

New bar at FireKeepers Casino

Looking ahead, FireKeepers is expected to open The Embers Bar this fall. The new venue, currently under construction in the former Kabaret Lounge space, is planned to feature immersive design and a full-service bar in the heart of the casino lobby.

FireKeepers Casino Hotel is located off Interstate 94 at Exit 104 in Battle Creek. The property includes 2,700 slot machines, 63 table games, a 21-table poker room and a AAA Four Diamond-rated hotel with 446 rooms. It also hosts major events like the FireKeepers Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series race and the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship on the EPSON Tour.

FireKeepers is owned and operated by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi. For more information, visit FireKeepersCasino.com.
