Labor Day sales have started, and if you were waiting for this to start your hunt for a new gaming PC, the time is now. There are plenty of gaming PCs on sale on various retailers, but we spotted the Skytech Rampage prebuilt PC on sale on Amazon with a 10% discount.

This PC features the Ryzen 7 9700X and the RTX 5070 Ti. Both of these are solid mid-range components offering great value, and with this offer, which dropped the price to $2,159.99 from $2,399.99, it is even better as you’re saving $240. What is in this gaming PC?

Ryzen 7 9700X

The Ryzen 7 9700X is a great mid-range processor capable of being paired with any GPU without holding back its performance. We’ve also reviewed the 9700X in-house and will be showcasing its real-world benchmarks to give you an idea of what to expect from this gaming PC.

When we tested this CPU, it was limited to 65W, but now you should be able to run it at 105W, meaning better performance. In gaming, this processor delivered 240 FPS in Days Gone with 130 FPS 1% lows and 325 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 with 237 1% lows. This shows that the 9700X wasn’t causing a CPU bottleneck at 1080p low settings, and when you increase the resolution, the more weight the GPU starts to pull.

RTX 5070 Ti

The RTX 5070 Ti features 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM with 8960 CUDA cores based on the new Blackwell architecture. This GPU should be able to deliver excellent performance at 1440p and even push 4K gaming. However, if there are titles that are giving it some trouble, DLSS 4 and MFG should seamlessly take care of that.

We haven’t tested this GPU yet, and it isn’t clear which model of the 5070 Ti will be a part of this prebuilt PC, but there are various reviews available online that we can leverage to showcase its abilities. TechSpot has tested and reviewed this GPU, and during their testing, this GPU managed 124 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p and 67 FPS at 4K, high settings. In God of War Ragnarok, it churned out 161 and 108 FPS at the same resolutions, respectively.

So, this card can push 4K at high and ultra settings, but the output will depend on the title, and when ray tracing is part of the equation, you might need to leverage DLSS 4 in some of the more demanding titles.

Storage, RAM, peripherals, and more

There is no shortage of excellent hardware in this gaming PC as it sports a 1TB SSD, 32GB DDR5 RAM, an 850W gold PSU, compliant with the ATX 3 standard, a 360mm AIO cooler, and pre-installed Windows 11. What this means is that you should have a smooth gaming and working experience, as all of these components are top-notch and have been well thought out.

Suppose you’re looking for a gaming PC with maximum value for money and an option that can handle resource-intensive applications and gaming.
