Gamescom reveals many new projects, and one of them is an indie dungeon crawler with metroidvania and crafting elements, Deep Dish Dungeon, first demonstrated at the Gamescom Awesome Indies Show.
The game is developed by Behold Studio, known for Knights of Pen & Paper and Chroma Squad, which recently announced its publishing agreement with Swedish indie publisher Raw Fury.
Deep Dish Dungeon is a survival exploration strategy game, where you investigate a peculiar hand-crafted dungeon. Its atmospheric world features puzzly corridors, rooms, and passageways, and you gather resources, craft tools, and cook meals, while tackling a larger challenge of uncovering the mystery behind the shadows.
Between exploration journeys, you can rest by the campfire, plan your next steps, and make use of the resources you’ve gathered. Craft new tools, cook a wholesome meal, and unlock recipes along the way, each affecting your character in different ways. You can enjoy the adventure solo or together in co-op mode with up to three friends.
