Wolves have ruled out selling Jorgen Strand Larsen, talkSPORT understands.
Newcastle hold an interest in the Norwegian striker, who scored 14 Premier League goals last season.

Strand Larsen only joined Wolves from Celta Vigo in the summer of 2024 on an initial loan before subsequently triggering a £25million option to buy this summer.
Reports on Thursday suggested a £60million package might tempt Wolves into selling this summer.
However, talkSPORT understands no asking price has been set and Wolves have no intention to sell so late in the window.
The club’s focus is instead on strengthening their squad, whilst there is no appetite to entertain offers for their most influential players.

Crystal Palace are also interested in Hwang Hee-chan, but Wolves are reluctant to loan the South Korean striker to a Premier League rival.
The 29-year-old has three years remaining on his deal at Molineux after signing an extension in 2023.
Hwang scored twice in 21 Premier League appearances last season.
Meanwhile, Wolves are also closing in on a new defensive reinforcement.
A fee of over £26million for Girona’s Ladislav Krejci is almost agreed.
The 26-year-old centre-back has 20 caps for Czechia to his name as well as three international goals.

Wolves’ summer transfers
Krejci is set to become Vitor Pereira’s sixth signing of the summer transfer window.
He follows Fer Lopez, Jhon Arias, Jackson Tchatchoua and David Moller Wolfe through the door.
Including Strand Larsen’s permanent switch from Celta, Wolves will have spent over £100million on new additions to their squad.
There may still be more business to come, though, according to Pereira.
Speaking after their loss to Manchester City, he explained: “The club knows that we need maybe three signings with quality to add something more.
“This league is a very difficult league and we need more solutions. This is the time to make an offer and to help the team. We need help so I hope the club can help us.”

Newcastle’s striker hunt
It has been a less active summer at St James’ Park, though, with Strand Larsen the latest attacking target the Magpies are set to miss out on.
Newcastle began the window by pursuing a move for Joao Pedro, only for the Brazilian to join Chelsea from Brighton.
They were then beaten to the signing of Hugo Ekitike by Liverpool, who remain interested in Alexander Isak.
The wantaway forward remains banished from Newcastle training amid his claims the club have ‘broken promises’ to sell him.
After missing out on Ekitike, the Magpies came close to securing the services of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.
However, he instead completed a £74million move to Manchester United earlier this month.

Eddie Howe’s side have also so far been unable to complete a deal for Brentford’s Yoane Wissa.
