Slot machine maker Aruze Gaming Global has announced the appointment of Srini Adiraju as the company’s chief technology officer (CTO).
In his new role, Mr Adiraju “will oversee global technology strategy and guide the development of next-generation gaming platforms for the company’s worldwide operations,” stated the firm in a Wednesday press release.
The announcement cited Frank Feng, owner and president of Aruze Gaming Global, as saying: “Adiraju’s expertise in platform technology and systems architecture will strengthen our foundation for innovation.”
“We’re excited to have him lead the next phase of our technology evolution,” he added.
The update said the new CTO would be “tasked with driving platform innovation and strengthening Aruze’s technology teams in Las Vegas and overseas,” while at the same “guiding the development of secure, scalable gaming platforms that support the company’s global growth strategy”.
Mr Adiraju is described as having “more than 25 years of experience” leading technology, product development, and system architecture “across the gaming, automotive, and networking industries”.
According to the release, he holds 25 gaming-related patents, “reflecting his influential role in advancing secure, scalable gaming technologies”.
Most recently, Mr Adiraju served as vice president of engineering at Visteon Corp, responsible for global cybersecurity and functional safety programs. Prior to Visteon, he spent 14 years at WMS Gaming and Scientific Games, the latter now known as Light & Wonder Inc.
Aruze Gaming Global, part of Empire Technological Group Ltd, has told GGRAsia that the company aimed for “strong growth” in the Asia Pacific slot sector this year.
During 2024, the supplier had been granted licences by a number of jurisdictions in North America and also in Asia, including in Macau and the Philippines.
