Families are set for a weekend of food, drink and entertainment as a mouth-watering festival returns to the Kent coast.
The Deal Food and Drink Festival will be back for its ninth year, set against the backdrop of Deal Castle and the seafront, for five days.

The free festival will feature a street food court selling artisan groceries, local produce, global cuisine and sweet treats, along with a beach bar marquee where visitors can pick up a drink.
There will also be fairground rides and children’s entertainers to keep the kids happy, along with live music on the outdoor stage.
Crowds can expect artists such as blues band Deep River Blues, singer-songwriter Ian Fox, rock trio Phat Gandalf, covers band Harripaul and folk group Folklaw to perform.

The festival also includes a string of comedy nights, which are ticketed and take place inside the main marquee.
The adult-only shows will boast a line-up of four comedians and an MC each evening, including Mat Wills, Russell Arathoon, Sean Gorman, Lateef Lovejoy, Geordie Geoff, Sam Serrano and Justin Panks.
You can book tickets to the comedy nights here.
The Deal Food and Drink Festival runs from Wednesday, August 27 to Sunday, August 31 at Deal Castle Promenade and is free to enter.
