There’s a huge RTX 5080 PC deal currently live at Newegg that’s well worth your time, and it’s ideal for those looking for something powerful for 1440p and 4K gaming. This Skytech King 95 gaming PC is down $1400 on its list price of $4,499.99, and can now be bought for just $3,099.99.

While we’d say it’s a stretch to put this PC at $4500, we would say that something of this calibre for just over $3000 is a great deal, and gives you a lot of bang for your buck. You’ve got one of the best gaming CPUs in this build, plus loads of storage and high-speed RAM, and it’s one of the best-looking PCs we’ve come across from Skytech, too.

What we like about the Skytech King 95 RTX 5080 gaming PC

• RTX 5080: An excellent card for 1440p and 4K gaming, especially if you use DLSS and MFG.
• Ryzen 7 9800X3D: 8 cores, 16 threads, 120W TDP, 5.2GHz, and a massive 96MB L3 cache make this a great gaming pick to go with the RTX 5080.
• Large SSD: Big enough to hold around 20 AAA games.
• High-speed RAM: 6000MHz DDR5 and 32GB for optimum performance.
• Great-looking design: Eye-catching without being too flashy, this is a standout gaming PC that’ll look great in any setup.

The GPU here is the impressive RTX 5080, which his one of the best cards for 1440p and 4K gaming on the market. We reviewed the Founder’s Edition and were impressed with its performance, especially with DLSS 4 and MFG. In terms of raw performance, for instance, in Cyberpunk 2077, it could hit 4K, 35fps at ultra-settings in our testing. Overall, it’s an impressive card that hits the sweet spot.

The CPU is the brilliant Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which is one of the best you can get for gaming thanks to its revolutionary 3D V-cache. For high fps gaming, it’s great at reducing frame latency, but its core and thread count may not be the best for those looking for something for heavy-duty multitasking. That being said, it’s one of the best gaming CPUs for the RTX 5080 available right now.

In terms of storage and RAM, this PC also delivers. It scales back on the NVMe generation, though, opting for a Gen4 option instead of Gen5. That’s not a huge deal in our opinion. The RAM is pretty impressive, and not overkill either, coming in at 6000MHz.

Who’s this deal for?

Coming in at just over $3000, this is a very good price for an RTX 5080 prebuild with components like these. We wouldn’t pay close to $4500 for it, so as mentioned, we’d take the huge price reduction with a pinch of salt. Realistically, with these components, we’d say it’s closer to $3500 based on what we’ve seen on the market.

That being said, this is an excellent price and deal to consider if you’re looking for something powerful that also looks great, too. If it’s still a little expensive, we’ve also spotted several RTX 5070 Ti gaming PCs in the sales, which are great for 1440p and come in around $2000 to $2500 in our experience.
