New Lego Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight Game Announced

The Lego Batman games have always been a very interesting interpretation of that particularly dark DC superhero. Mostly because the Lego version of the Dark Knight isn’t so dark in the slightest. Sure, there are certainly nods to the dark storyline of the original source material. However, all in all, the Lego Batman games are infused with the hilarious antics distinct to developer TT Games and their entire line of Lego games. It’s why the Lego games in general are so popular. It’s also why this bit of news is probably going to get quite a bit of attention from Lego fans and Batman fans alike.

Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, DC, and the LEGO Group are proud to announce their upcoming LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight. This will be their latest entry in their long-running Lego Batman franchise, as well as their biggest yet. Mostly because it will cover the entirety of the 86-year long history of Batman in his various “films, television shows, comics, and games”. Don’t believe me? Then check out the reveal trailer for yourself on YouTube, or just look below:

The rise of the Not-So-Dark Knight will soon begin!

LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be available sometime in 2026. However, you can wishlist it right now for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation®5Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2™.

And as a bonus: players can unlock a Golden Age Batsuit inspired by Detective Comics #27 (1939) by signing up for a WB Games account.

The Dark Knight might take a while, but he will come.

Honestly, this looks like one of the highest quality Lego Batman games in a while. At least, once it releases. The textures and lighting all indicate something that was meant for 9th generation video game consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series. Oh, and don’t forget high-end gaming PCs. All with the signature Lego-style comedy that TT Games is best known for. Welp, all we can do is wait for next year to see if this new Lego game lives up to its hype and its trailer.
