An 18-year-old man has been arrested after a police chase, which shut the A2.
The pursuit happened shortly after 4am today, August 20, near the Bean Interchange and closed the route for about an hour.

It followed reports of a car being stolen in a burglary in Gravesend.
The car was stopped by officers, and a man from Essex was arrested.
A spokesman for the force said: “Kent Police was called to a report that a car had been stolen following a burglary at a property in Gravesend, shortly after 4am today.
“Patrols completed a search of the area and, following a pursuit, the vehicle was stopped on the A2 near Bean.
“An 18-year-old man from Essex was arrested, and an investigation is underway.”
