Jyamma Games Announces ‘La Divina Commedia’ During Gamescom 2025

As Gamescom 2025 begins, Jyamma Games revealed their brand new game to the world.

During today’s Opening Night Live for Gamescom 2025, Jyamma Games revealed La Divina Commedia, a dark fantasy action-rpg based on Dante Alighieri’s epic poem.

In this new adventure, the studio presents an epic journey set in a world where The Divine Comedy has supplanted the old faith, bringing about a golden age of righteousness among humanity. When dark forces subvert the promises of the poem, order collapses and the world is thrust into chaos.

In La Divina Commedia, the player will take on the role of a warrior-poet trapped in the infernal depths, called to descend through the circles of Hell, face increasingly powerful demons, and redeem a sinful past.

With unique gameplay mechanics for each weapon class, procedurally generated extraction dungeons, a narrative-driven alignment system tied to the Seven Deadly Sins, and the ability to forge fully customizable weapons and armor, both in stats and aesthetics, the game delivers an experience rich in strategy and variety, with many more features yet to be revealed.

An immersive plot will also play a pivotal role, enriched by references to the verses of the Great Poet. Players will be able to choose a male or female character, shaping their experience according to their preferred style and narrative approach, and experience high-fidelity graphics and animations created using a cutting-edge motion capture system developed with a leading international studio, already author of acclaimed productions such as Phantom Blade Zero.

La Divina Commedia will be available on Steam and additional platforms to be announced in the future.
