D&D has a lot of official things, but did you know you can get a WotC approved gaming table? Game Theory Tables does.
Deluxe gaming tables have been a thing in tabletop for years now. Since the early days of the internet, you’ve been able to get custom wooden gaming tables in varying shades of expensive. Because any good furniture, built to stand up to the test of hardcore gaming (spilled drinks, snack dust, and dice impacts), is going to need to be made out of good materials.
They’ve come a long way since the days of Geek Chic’s $10,000 table, some 17 years ago. And now, the latest development is an officially licensed D&D table from Game Theory Tables, available for pre-order now.
Game Theory’s Official D&D Table – The Table of Adventure
Revealed at Gen Con, and up for pre-order now, the Table of Adventure is the official D&D gaming table. Now, does that mean that any rulings you make at it are going to be more canonical and accurate? I mean that’s what I’d be telling everyone. Because it’s official.
It’s also a swanky gaming table in its own right. One that strikes a balance between table that can only be used for gaming, and a table that you could use for eating a meal at while looking at YouTube on your phone. It comes with several pre-designed perks that you can add on (for a price).
This includes a cool “Dungeon Master Command Center” for those of you DMs who actually “do prep” and “have notes” that you need to “consult” during your game. Me, I just have everything listed out stream of conscious style in a Google Doc labeled [Campaign Name]: Secrets Version DO NOT SHARE WITH PARTY (you learn that lesson once). It’s truly wretched. Maybe a DM Command Center would help me change my whole life. It might even help you!
“The Table of Adventure isn’t just where your party gathers—it’s where your world awakens. Co-developed with the creators of DUNGEONS & DRAGONS®, this is the first and only gaming table imbued with the soul of the game itself.”
The table itself is just one part of the package. It comes with integrated power distribution for charging your phones and plugging in your laptops/other devices. But there’s a ton of add ons. Like magnetically mounted trays so every player can have their own personal shelf. Or a cup holder. Plus a dice zone, a dining tabletop so you don’t have to eat on your battlemaps, and more.
It’s officially licensed from WotC, so you can get all your surfaces customized with official artwork from D&D. Which is a nice little bonus touch if that’s what you’re looking for!
There’s a pre-order special that ends in September if you want to save even more on your official D&D gaming table!
