Pokémon Champions Is Coming to Worlds

Pokémon Champions will be the one-stop shop for everyone interested in Pokémon battles, featuring a simplified training system, Pokémon HOME connectivity, and a variety of online battle modes available for all kinds of Trainers. The latest trailer revealed that Pokémon Champions is set to be the official platform for Pokémon Video Game Championships battles at the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, that Mega Evolution will return in Ranked Battles, and that Mega Dragonite is soaring into the game.

Pokémon Champions at the 2026 Pokémon World Championships

The Pokémon World Championships is the peak of competitive Pokémon play, and Pokémon Champions will soon be a part of that. Pokémon VGC battles will take place on Pokémon Champions at the 2026 Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco and in future Championship Series events.

Master Mega Evolution in Ranked Battles

The first set of Ranked Battles rules will allow your Pokémon to Mega Evolve, further amping the intensity! Trainers in Pokémon Champions wear a device known as an Omni Ring, which functions as a Key Stone necessary for Mega Evolution—and it seems like it may support other special battle features in the future. Mega Dragonite Takes Flight in Pokémon Champions
