Solo Indie Dev Monte Gallo has unveiled the gameplay trailer for their upcoming brutal bodycam FPS Better Than Dead, which will be published by MicroProse.
The protagonist of this stylish and dynamic shooter is a once-enslaved survivor who’s done running and is back for revenge. Now, she’s armed with a pistol, a kill list, and a bodycam to capture each moment of her vengeance.
The game is set in a photorealistic 90s Hong Kong and is inspired by old-school Chinese shooters. The developer has been experimenting with photogrammetry meshes to make the setting look more realistic:
