PowerWash Simulator 2 Goes Against Trends by Keeping Old Price

Unfortunately, we have to get used to rising prices for video games, with publishers asking for $80 for each copy: Mario Kart World, The Outer Worlds 2, other Microsoft titles… But don’t worry, there are still heroes in the industry: PowerWash Simulator 2’s developer FuturLab released a whole “price reveal” trailer, announcing that PowerWash Simulator 2 will cost the same as the first game – $24.99.

“Clean out the dirt, not your wallet,” the description says, and it is the motto all publishers should borrow from PowerWash Simulator.

The previous price hike happened barely a couple of years ago, so this industry trend is making me nervous about how much we’ll have to pay for games in the future. Oh, and don’t forget that we actually don’t own them anymore, as Ubisoft and Steam remind us.

So use PowerWash Simulator 2‘s kindness while you can: the game is coming in 2025 to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
