A summer festival celebrating locally produced cider and homegrown fruit is back for two days of booze, bands and bites.
This year’s Brogdale Cider Festival will take place on the Faversham farm and is set to boast a huge variety of drinks from independent traders.

Visitors can enjoy a taste of fruity creations from the likes of Biddenden Cider, the Kent Cider Company, WiseOwl, Turners and, of course, Brogdale’s own Craft Cider.
The weekender will also bring together a range of street food stalls, an outdoor BBQ and fresh fruit and snacks from the on-site Tiddly Pomme shop.
The programme has a stacked line-up of bands and live entertainment, including the 100-strong Rock Choir, RnB party band Rubber Biscuit, the New Orleans-inspired Native Oysters Band, ska group Curb Pilots, The Dualers’ Si Cranstoun and more.

There will also be free activities for the kids, such as tractor-trailer rides, apple juicing, a craft tent and festival games.
There is free parking and free shuttle buses will also be running to and from Faversham train station between 10am and 5pm each day.
The Brogdale Cider Festival takes place on Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24. You can book tickets here.
It comes just one week before the brewery town’s huge Hop Festival, which returns on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31.
The free beer festival will take over Faversham for two days of live music, Morris dancing, children’s entertainers, market stalls, pop-up bars, food vendors and more.
