A man has been taken to hospital and a busy route is shut after a crash between a car and a van.
The A290 Pean Hill near Whitstable is closed in both directions.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were at the scene, where minor injuries were reported.
One man has been taken to a local hospital.
The closure stretches from Fox’s Cross Road to Bogshole Lane, and has caused queuing traffic in the area.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 9.37am today to a collision involving a car and a van on Pean Hill, Whitstable.
“Officers attended the scene alongside paramedics and Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
“The road is currently closed while enquiries are ongoing at the scene.
“Minor injuries were reported, and one man has been taken to a local hospital.”
