US Vice President JD Vance is set to stay with the Foreign Secretary at his Kent mansion this summer.
The politician and his family will begin their holiday tomorrow at David Lammy’s Grade I-listed country house in Chevening near Sevenoaks.

According to the Telegraph, the pair have developed a warm friendship, bonding over their difficult childhoods and shared Christian faith.
It comes after reports that the Tottenham MP attended mass at Mr Vance’s Washington home during a visit in March and now hopes to return the favour.
David Lammy’s relationship with the vice president follows previous criticisms of Donald Trump.
He had described him as a “racist and KKK/neo-Nazi sympathiser” when Labour was in opposition, but since coming to power has brushed off his remarks as “old news”.

Both are expected to meet at Chevening before being joined by their families.
Asked about Mr Vance’s visit to the UK, a Foreign Office spokesman said: “Ministerial engagements will be announced in the usual way.”
The vice president and his family are also expected to visit Hampton Court Palace during their holiday, but most of their stay will be spent in the Cotswolds.
His trip follows Donald Trump’s recent private trip to Scotland, where he opened a new golf course at his Aberdeenshire resort.
The US president will return to the UK for a full state visit in September.
