A man has been jailed after being caught red-handed with a cannabis farm in his home.
Police stormed a house in Ramsgate Road, Broadstairs, and uncovered the drugs den hidden in an upstairs bedroom.

Giedrius Sadeckas, 47, was found at the scene and arrested on the spot after officers discovered 33 cannabis plants growing under specialist lighting.
The raid took place in the early hours of March 6, 2022, after police received a tip-off linking the property to drugs supply.
He was later charged with being concerned in the production of a controlled drug.
The illegal haul weighed almost 4kg, with a street value estimated at about £25,000.
Sadeckas later admitted to being involved in the production of a controlled drug.

He was jailed for 22 months at Canterbury Crown Court last Thursday.
Det Con Alice McCarthy said: “The cultivation of cannabis on this scale is not a victimless crime, it is often linked to exploitation, antisocial behaviour, and organised networks.
“We will continue to take proactive steps to dismantle these kinds of operations and bring those responsible to justice.”
