Tottenham’s George Abbott has now completed a season-long loan move to a side that he impressed against in a pre-season friendly last month.
Tottenham have been very busy in loaning youngsters out over the last couple of weeks, with Mikey Moore joining Rangers and Ashley Phillips returning to Stoke City.
It has emerged over recent days that the Potters are also set to sign Jamie Donley, who had an outstanding spell with Leyton Orient in League One last season.
Just like Donley, Abbott will now get a chance to play at a higher level this season after impressing on loan at Notts County last term.

Abbott was one of the standout performers in League Two last term, and the youngster also impressed in Tottenham’s pre-season clash against Wycombe Wanderers at Hotspur Way last month.
Abbott only played against Wycombe due to Rodrygo Bentancur’s illness, and he was very tidy in that game. It looks like he impressed his opponents so much that they have decided to sign him.
It has now been confirmed that the 19-year-old will move to Adams Park Stadium on loan for the season, with the Spurs academy graduate now having an opportunity to prove himself at League One level.
Wycombe manager is delighted to land Abbott from Spurs
Wycombe boss Mike Dodds has revealed that the Tottenham youngster is a player they have followed for a long time.
He also suggested that Abbott had no shortage of suitors this summer and admitted that he is over the moon that the midfielder chose the Chairboys as his destination.
Dodds told Wycombe’s official website: “George is a really exciting player in the middle of the park and we’re delighted that he’s made the decision to come here over other clubs to continue his progress in his career.
“He had an excellent loan spell last season and is a player we’ve known about for a long time in youth football, so to bring him here is another really positive step forward in our recruitment this summer.”
