Here’s a chance for you to bag yourself the most gorgeous gaming laptop of the moment for a discount price, thanks to this new Razer Blade 16 deal. Right now, you can save $400 on this slimline, premium laptop, complete with one of the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 5000 GPUs, making the price much more palatable.
I absolutely loved this thin and light gaming machine when I tested it for my Razer Blade 16 review, calling it a “triumph of gaming laptop design.” With its well-built, CNC-machined aluminum chassis, you really feel a sense of pride when you lift this Razer laptop out of its box, and its 240Hz OLED screen offers fantastic image quality too. It’s topped our guide to buying the best gaming laptop ever since, and my only main criticism of it is its high price.
That’s addressed in one fell swoop with this latest round of summer deals, though, where you can pick up a new Blade 16 for as low as $1,999. I’m not going to pretend that’s cheap, but it’s a massively better deal than the usual $2,399 starting price. If you want the best laptop you can buy right now, but you’ve been put off by the high price, then now is your chance to go in for the kill.
Two machines are on offer right now. The entry-level model, which you can buy at this link here, has the same fantastic chassis and Nvidia G-Sync OLED screen as the top-spec machines, but with different core specs. In this case, $1,999.99 buys you a Razer Blade 16 with a ten-core AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 CPU based on the latest Zen 5 architecture, which is a great starting point.
Meanwhile, the GPU is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060, which gives you 3,328 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM, as well as full support for the Nvidia DLSS 4 suite, including multi-frame gen. That gives you enough power for gaming at 1,920 x 1,080, but this GPU will struggle if you want to run games at the screen’s full 2,560 x 1,600 resolution.
You also get 16GB of RAM, which is enough for gaming right now, and it comes with speedy 8,000MT/s LPDDR5X memory too. However, it’s also soldered to the motherboard, so you can’t upgrade it to any of the kits from our best gaming RAM guide at a later date. The spec is rounded off with a 1TB SSD, which gives you room to install several of the latest games, and this is thankfully an M.2 drive, so you can swap it out for a larger drive from our best gaming SSD guide in the future.
If you have a little more money to spend, though, my top tip for this deal would be to buy the next model up, which also has a $400 discount right now. Step up to the RTX 5070 model, and you’ll get a significantly more powerful GPU with 4,608 CUDA cores – a 38% increase in rendering power. It still only has 8GB of VRAM, and is better suited to 1080p gaming than playing at 1600p, but it gives your system more room to breathe when it’s running games, so you can increase the graphics settings.
More importantly, you get a full 32GB helping of memory with this model, giving you headroom to open loads of apps and browser tabs at the same time in Windows, while also future-proofing your machine. This model usually costs $2,799.99 at MSRP, but this current Razer deal enables you to pick one up for a much more reasonable cost of $2,399.99.
You can get a similar spec for less money elsewhere, of course, but what you’re getting with the Razer Blade 16 is a truly premium laptop, with a superb design, great build quality, and all sorts of premium touches. For example, some of the keyboard’s keys contain two LEDs, and they change when you press the Fn button, so you can instantly see which symbol you’re going to hit.
The glowing Razer logo in the lid also looks great, and even the speakers sound good. Meanwhile, Razer’s Synapse software gives you loads of control over the performance and cooling, with its quiet mode significantly reducing the racket made by the cooling fans, but still offering decent gaming performance.
You’ll need to get in quick, though, as these Razer Blade 16 prices will only be available until August 26, 2025. After that point, these machines will go back to their usual prices.
