Xbox fans waiting for their version of Wired Productions and Pollard Studio’s KARMA: The Dark World won’t have to wait much longer. The teams have announced that the haunting psychological horror will finally launch on the Xbox Series on September 10. And, as an extra bonus, KARMA will arrive on Xbox with an exclusive green camera filter in the game’s photo mode.
Inspired by the works of legendary creators such as David Lynch (Twin Peaks), Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid, Death Stranding), and Christopher Nolan (Inception, Interstellar), KARMA: The Dark World blends psychological horror with immersive storytelling, challenging players to uncover the deepest secrets hidden in the minds of their targets.
Taking place in 1984 East Germany, players take on the role of Daniel McGovern, an elite Roam Agent working for Leviathan Corp’s Thought Bureau, and tasked with mind-diving into the memories of suspects.
What begins as another routine investigation soon unravels into a dark conspiracy that challenges everything he believes. As McGovern navigates the minds of those he pursues, he must confront disturbing truths and question his own reality.
In addition to the Xbox Series, KARMA: The Dark World is also available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and the PlayStation 5. There is also a limited physical version of the game for the PlayStation 5.
