When it was announced that iRacing had taken over the exclusive license for NASCAR’s console game franchise, NASCAR 25 became one of the most anticipated NASCAR video games of all-time. While we still haven’t seen much in the way of gameplay footage from the upcoming game, which is set to release for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on October 14 and on PC via Steam shortly after that date, iRacing found a way to dial up the excitement for the upcoming game.
iRacing revealed the complete driver roster for NASCAR 25, which will include the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and ARCA Menards Series. In all, NASCAR 25 will feature 176 unique real-world race car drivers from the world of NASCAR.
Among the notable omissions from the game is Katherine Legge, who has competed in both the NASCAR Cup Series (with Live Fast Motorsports) and NASCAR Xfinity Series (with Jordan Anderson Racing) in multiple events. Additionally, Connor Zilisch, who is included in the game as a NASCAR Xfinity Series driver, is not included in the NASCAR Cup Series, despite running some NASCAR Cup Series races in the No. 87 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet.
NASCAR 25 will boast a NASCAR Cup Series driver roster of 45 drivers, while the game will feature 44 NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers, 48 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers, and 57 ARCA Menards Series drivers.
There will be some drivers who are in multiple series within the game. Three drivers (Ross Chastain, Josh Bilicki, and William Sawalich) are included in three different series in the NASCAR 25 roster.
