Free games collection on Steam expands with new additions

Another wave of free games has been spotted on Steam by X user @SteamGamesPC. While not all of these newly released freebies have player ratings yet, a handful of them have been received well by those who tried them.

Steam has expanded its free game collection with another wave of new releases. As always, since these free games were just launched, not all of them have official player ratings yet. A handful of them, however, were received well by the players who have tried them, and they are:

  • PyramidValley: Reborn – launched on July 17, it’s a management game where players must develop a pharaonic city. This free game on Steam currently has a “Positive” rating that’s based on 44 reviews.
  • Knight Crawler – also became available on July 17, this is a top-down action roguelike. It features procedurally generated dungeons and currently sports a “Positive” player rating.
  • Everlife – described as a fast-paced maze game with unique environments. This freebie became available on Steam on July 16, and it currently features the “Positive” overall player rating.
  • Tears of Vanfell: New Beginning – released on June 21, it’s categorized as a dungeon crawler RPG that features up to four-player co-op. It currently sports the “Positive” player rating.
  • Inside the Crow’s Nest – an early access free game that became available on July 5. Said to be inspired by old-school survival horror games, this freebie currently flaunts the “Very Positive” rating.
  • Janitori – described as a chilling horror title that puts players in the shoes of a janitor on a night shift. This free game became available on Steam on July 21 and currently has a “Mostly Positive” rating.
  • Rezarus – also in early access, this free game is an online FPS arena combat title where teams of up to 10 go against each other. It launched on Steam on July 21 and currently sports the “Positive” player rating.
  • Clicker – said to be an idle clicker in which players need to manage resources as a college graduate. Released on July 25, this free game currently has a “Positive” player rating.
  • Simulators, strategies and pigeons – described as a collection of six independent free games that let players explore the simulation genre from different angles. It became available on Steam on July 26 and currently has the “Positive” player rating.
