Shock ‘N Awesome, Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4, is the game’s new season. Following Season 3, which focused on superheroes, Epic Games’ popular battle royale opens a new chapter that brings with it new outfits available through its Battle Pass. Among them are the Power Rangers, as well as female SPARTAN soldiers from Halo’s UNSC, ready to take on the disgusting creatures that have invaded the island. All the new outfits from Shock ‘N Awesome, the new Fortnite season for August 2025
The new Fortnite season, titled Shock ‘N Awesome, brings with it a new Battle Pass packed with new outfits and cosmetic items to earn. Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 adds eight new outfits to earn with the Battle Pass. The most notable ones are the Green Power Ranger and Megazord outfits, as well as a SPARTAN soldier outfit from Halo. The vast majority of them have been shown both in the spectacular live-action trailer and in the official key art:
- UNSC Spartan: Humanity’s first line of defense. (Instantly unlocked after purchasing the Pass or accessing it through Fortnite Crew!)
- Yoo-mi: An idol, on and off the battlefield.
- Agent Patch: He picked the wrong day to give up chewing bamboo.
- Battle Gamer Mae: Press O, X, Right to squish bug.
- Lt. Ripp Slade: Rip through ‘em.
- Onyx Winter: O.X.R’s fierce and fearless general.
- Green Ranger: IT’S MORPHIN TIME!
- Dino Megazord: This is the secret outfit of the season, available starting September 16 by completing your Quests.

For better or worse, not all Power Rangers are included in the Pass; only the green one (Tommy Oliver). On August 8, a new bundle of outfits will arrive in the Fortnite store, including the red, black, pink, yellow, and blue Rangers, as well as several of their most iconic accessories. And not only that, but Ron Wasserman’s legendary “Go Go Power Rangers” will also be included as music, which we can use as we please.

The theme of the season is an invasion of bugs, which explains the two new collaborations included in the Battle Pass (Halo and Power Rangers). In these two franchises, the characters are true experts at fighting insectoid threats from other worlds, and this theme could open the door to new and eagerly awaited collaborations such as Starship Troopers or Helldivers. In any case, these collaborations are the main draw of the season, something that fans of the franchises in question will undoubtedly take into account.
To get all these new outfits, we’ll have to buy the Battle Pass for the new season for $7.99, although it’s also included as part of the monthly Fortnite Crew subscription, which costs $11.99/month. As usual, it is expected that, apart from these seasonal-themed outfits from the Pass, other similar ones will arrive in the daily store, such as several of those shown in the trailer that are not part of the Pass.

Epic Games continues to break new ground with its flagship video game. Following the superhero season, which culminated in the Super Showdown event, Fortnite is taking a 180-degree turn in its narrative. The remains of the evil Mastermind have given rise to an infestation of terrifying creatures, and the island’s inhabitants need the help of heroes and experienced soldiers such as the Power Rangers and Halo’s SPARTANs. This storyline will continue to evolve over the coming months, so Epic’s popular video game will continue to surprise players with new content and regular updates.

The Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4, titled Shock ‘N Awesome, kicks off next Thursday, August 7 at 1:30 AM ET. This date and time correspond to the following times across the United States:
- 1:30 AM ET
- 12:30 AM CT
- 10:30 PM PT
In order to enjoy the content of the new season, we will have to download patch 37.00, which is the one that will bring all the new features. Once this is done, we will have to wait a few hours for Epic Games to restore the servers after implementing all these changes. In the worst-case scenario, if there are any unforeseen problems, it is possible that Fortnite will be offline for a day or even more.
