Got three (or maybe four) monitors and want to condense things into one, suitably massive canvas for your work or the best ultrawide games? We might just have the deal for you.
Samsung’s whopping Odyssey Neo G9, which has a 57-inch 4K, mini-LED panel, just got a sizeable price cut at Amazon. It’s still not cheap, but its gaming chops could mean it’s well worth a look.
Save 35% on this 57-inch monitor
The retailer has knocked 35% off the list price, saving you $700 and bringing the monitor down from $2,299,99 to $1,499.99, but losing none of its conversation-starting looks (read: size).
This BFM has got a dual UHD resolution of 7680×2160, but whereas Samsung monitors once felt geared towards work (I reviewed a similar-sized one once), this also packs a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time.
There’s also AMD Freesync Premium Pro (no NVIDIA G-Sync, though), and the Quantum Matrix uses mini LEDs to improve contrast across the display.
As you’d imagine, you’ll have less space on your desk with this sitting on it, but it can thankfully be a USB hub, too, which is a nice touch.
I have a 39-inch LG UltraGear monitor that hits the sweet spot for me, but if you can find creative ways to use 57 inches of gaming goodness (behave yourself) then more power to you.
It’s also listed for £1,599 at Amazon UK right now, significantly cheaper than its average price of £1,919.88, but not as good as its £1,499 price during Prime Day last month.
