ZOTAC RTX 5070 performance
While we haven’t reviewed this exact model of the RTX 5070, we have put the ASUS TUF RTX 5070 OC through its paces, and it is also a triple fan variant. They both have a 2.5GHz boost clock and the same processor, so the performance shouldn’t vary a lot. We’ll showcase the findings of our testing to give you an idea of its output.
Gaming
Paired with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, this GPU managed 136, 95, and 52 FPS in F1 24 at 1080p, 1440p, and 4K, respectively. In Cyberpunk 2077, it had better performance at 1080p and 1440p with 169 and 108 FPS, respectively, but 4K took a hit with 48 FPS. However, with ray tracing turned up to overdrive in the same title, the frames plummeted to 1, but with the help of DLSS 4 and MFG (4X), it ramped up to 120.
This is a massive increase in performance and shows that this GPU can push 4K, but with a little help from software. Natively, it is best for 1080p and 1440p gaming, which can be made even better by leveraging these upscaling technologies.
Synthetic
In the Geekbench AI 2.1 test, this GPU managed 29,790 points in the single precision test, 52,506 points in the half precision test, and 23,186 points in the quantized test. So, it doesn’t have the best AI performance, as even the RTX 4080 could easily outperform it, and in other tests like 3DMark and Blender, it was the same case.
However, it should have decent productivity, but if your workflow consists of very resource-intensive tasks, then it’d be better to consider a stronger GPU like the RTX 5080.

Who’s this deal for?
This deal is for anyone on a budget and looking for a graphics card with solid 1440p performance. The RTX 5070 can leverage upscaling technologies even to tackle 4K gaming; however, that doesn’t help with productivity, and we saw that the previous generation of GPUs can easily counter it in that aspect.
That being said, if you’re building a PC primarily for gaming, then this GPU shouldn’t disappoint and deliver a smooth and stable gaming experience.
