A man and a woman were arrested following the death of a three-month-old baby at a home near Canterbury, police have confirmed.
The pair, who are in their 30s, were taken into custody after the child died in Athelstan Road, Thanington, on Sunday morning.

There had been a large emergency response to the property shortly before midday after paramedics alerted police following the baby’s death.
As many as six police cars and four ambulances are reported to have been at the scene.
A police spokesperson confirmed today that the man and woman were arrested in connection with the baby’s death and have been released on bail while investigations continue.
“Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing,” they said.
