It is easy to get distracted while looking for a gaming PC, as there are plenty of options in the market with high-end components and fancy casings that make them very appealing, but they also have hefty price tags. What is under the hood of this gaming PC?

Ryzen 7 8700F

The Ryzen 7 8700F is based on the Zen 4 architecture and comes with eight cores and 16 threads, which is common for all the Ryzen 7 processors. Besides that, it has a low TDP of 65W, but it can be configured between 45W and 65W. So, it isn’t an energy leech, and even an air cooler should be enough to keep it cool.

However, what sets it apart from the Ryzen 7000 lineup is that it has an NPU with AI performance of up to 16 TOPS. So, this gaming PC is AI-ready and should be able to deliver good performance in AI-related workflows.

RTX 4060 Ti

The RTX 4060 Ti is a decent graphics card for 1080p and 1440p gaming. However, playing 4K games would be asking too much of it. We’ve also reviewed the Zotac RTX 4060 Ti OC in-house, and we’ll showcase our findings to give you an idea of the capabilities of this GPU.

The 1080p and 1440p performance of this card was great, as it managed 86 and 51 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077, respectively. However, depending on the title, we got even better FPS, such as in The Finals, it managed 182 and 106 FPS, and 157 and 98 FPS in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. That being said, we did try to run some titles at 4K, and unsurprisingly, the performance wasn’t great and the only playable result we got was in CS2 with 78 FPS. So, with this GPU powering this gaming PC, sticking to the lower resolutions should give you the best results.

Decent components

The ViprTech Reaper 2.0 comes with a 1TB NVMe SSD, 32GB DDR5 RAM (6,400 MHz), a gold-rated 600W PSU, a 240mm AIO cooler, and the usual WiFi, Bluetooth, and pre-installed Windows 11.
