Alongside Iron Man & Star Wars Jedi 3

For a while now, EA has been working with Disney to translate its big IP into AAA video games – mostly based on the Star Wars franchise. However, EA’s Dead Space team is now working on an Iron Man game too, and a new interview confirms that more unannounced Disney projects are in the works as well.
Speaking with Variety, president at EA Entertainment Laura Miele touched on the company’s work with Disney, and what ongoing projects the team has based on those IP. Miele namedrops Respawn’s upcoming Star Wars Jedi sequel and that aforementioned EA Motive Iron Man game among others – then going on to mention that the team has “a few others that haven’t been announced yet”.
What those unannounced games will turn out to be remains to be seen of course, but one thing you can guarantee is that one of them won’t be a Black Panther game. Yep, that EA x Disney project was cancelled mere months ago, with developer Cliffhanger Games also shut down in the process. Here’s hoping that these other unannounced titles suffer a better fate than Black Panther.
EA has now worked on plenty of Star Wars titles in recent years so we’d like to see something a little different from these unannounced projects – other Marvel games seem like the safest bet. Anyway, what would you like to see from this? Anything that immediately springs to mind? We’d love to hear your suggestions on these unannounced titles!
Talk to us about what EA x Disney projects you want to see down below.
