Between PC builds and home console chips, AMD had a busy quarter in Q2 2025.
With AMD having put out its Q2 2025 earnings for the most recent fiscal quarter, the company also broke out a few of its different business sectors, including its gaming revenue. Game-related sales were up quite a bit, not only crossing $1 billion for the quarter, but also ending up 73 percent year-over-year for the year.
AMD reported the success of its gaming department in Q2 2025 on its overall earnings results this week. According to the reports, AMD ended up at $1.1 billion in its overall gaming revenue metric for the quarter. Against the $648 million that was put up in AMD’s Q2 2024 ending in Juine last year, that was quite the increase.

AMD has been able to keep its gaming revenue strong on the backs of various trends in the industry. AMD chips still power new Xboxes and PlayStations, so the group has continued to keep business going on the console front, but AMD’s Radeon series have also been able to keep it in the conversation in PC gaming.
That push in gaming helped AMD achieve a record-setting revenue for Q2 2025. For more reporting, stay tuned to the AMD topic for news and updates.
