Two big brands are set to close stores in a busy shopping district this month.
Both Superdry and Deichmann are leaving Canterbury city centre.

In June, it was revealed clothing giant Urban Outfitters is set to open its third Kent store at the city’s Whitefriars shopping centre.
The lifestyle chain is poised to move into the Deichmann store, according to planning documents.
While official confirmation is yet to be made, papers submitted to Canterbury City Council reveal signs for the new shop could be erected in November.
The other two Urban Outfitters can be found at Bluewater and in Tunbridge Wells.

Deichmann confirmed it is moving out of Whitefriars and is now on the hunt for a new location in the city.
A spokesperson for the firm said: “I can confirm that we are closing our store in Canterbury on August 17.
“We are considering other suitable locations in Canterbury as it’s an important location in our store portfolio.”
Meanwhile, a sign displayed in Superdry’s window reveals it is closing on Saturday.
The firm, which has more than 70 stores across the UK, has been approached for comment.
The opening of Urban Outfitters will mark another high-profile arrival to Whitefriars, the city council’s flagship shopping centre, as it continues to enjoy a remarkable turnaround in fortunes since its controversial £155 million acquisition in 2018.
Space NK and ProCook are both set to open later this year in the former HMV unit, which has been divided into two.
Elsewhere, Oliver Bonas and Lucy and Yak have both started trading in the area in the past year, while a variety of pop-ups and small independents make use of Marlowe Arcade.
