Will Lankshear is thoroughly enjoying working under Thomas Frank, with the Tottenham academy graduate revealing what he thinks of the Dane tactically.
Frank was not walking into the easiest of environments, as it was widely reported that there was anger in the Tottenham dressing room after Ange Postecoglou’s sacking.
So far, the Dane seems to have done everything right, and it appears that he is winning over the players, with Cristian Romero now looking set to stay at Spurs after making no secret of the fact that he wanted to leave earlier this summer.
The 51-year-old is also quickly becoming popular with the Tottenham fans, and it certainly helps that he won his first North London derby in charge.
Will Lankshear reveals what has impressed him about Thomas Frank
Tottenham Hotspur striker Will Lankshear has loved what he has seen from Frank and his coaching staff on the training ground.
The 20-year-old described the new Spurs boss as a “top-class manager” and raved about how good he is tactically.
When asked how he has found working with the former Brentford boss, the Tottenham academy graduate said (via Football.London): “Amazing. I think he is a top-class manager.
“He did so well for Brentford, and I think he will be really good for us. Tactically, he is amazing, and I’m really excited to see what we can do this year and in the years to come.”
Recently departed Tottenham man backs Frank to succeed at N17
Many will feel that Lankshear has no choice but to be complimentary to Frank, given that he is looking to become a first-team regular at N17.
However, a player who recently departed Tottenham for Luton Town, Josh Keeley, also raved about Frank’s impact at Spurs.
The goalkeeper predicted that the Lilywhites are set to have an “exciting season” under the Dane, revealing that his former teammates really want to play for their new head coach.
