A Farmington man is facing charges after allegedly making bomb threats at the Finger Lakes Gaming Casino on State Route 96 in Ontario County.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, 34-year-old Jose Luis Torres-Berrios was involved in a verbal altercation at the casino’s bar area. When security attempted to remove him, he allegedly threatened to return to his residence, build explosives, and use them to blow up the casino and harm those inside.
Sheriff’s deputies were contacted by casino staff, and Torres-Berrios was located and arrested on the premises. He has been charged with making a terroristic threat.
Torres-Berrios was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment.
