What is in this gaming PC?

Ryzen 7 9800X3D

When it comes to processors for gaming, there is only one CPU that has all the spotlight, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. Not only is this processor great for gaming, but it has also overcome the productivity shortcomings of previous X3D processors. When we reviewed the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, it didn’t disappoint in the least.

We ran Cyberpunk 2077 and Counter-Strike 2 at 1080p low settings, paired with the RTX 4070 Ti, and got 334 and 604 FPS, respectively. However, to boost the gaming output, there is PBO, which ramps up the single-core performance and by enabling that, we saw the FPS go from 604 in CS2 to 669, which is a solid 10% increment.

Besides that, it had no issues handling multi-threaded and rendering workflows as it managed to go neck and neck with the Ryzen 7 9700X.

RX 9070 XT

Just like the 9800X3D, the RX 9070 XT is in the limelight as it delivers exceptional gaming performance but doesn’t require you to spend a small fortune. It isn’t listed which model of the RX 9070 XT will be included in this gaming PC, but we’ll showcase the output of the ASUS Prime RX 9070 XT OC to give you an idea of what this pairing can deliver.

To our surprise, this GPU could easily push 4K as we got 61 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077, 100 FPS in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, and 101 FPS in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. This output was without leveraging FSR 4 to enhance the performance, meaning that a mid-range GPU is running games at 4K, and there is really no need for you to spend more on high-end options when you’ve got this card for gaming.
