The Epic Games Store has updated its PC gaming giveaway service with two new titles. Available for a limited time, as always, Keylocker and Pilgrims are both well-rated indie titles for fans of turn-based rhythm JRPG and card-based games.
Epic Games has refreshed its free PC game of the week deal with two new games this week. To recap, the storefront pivoted to Legion TD 2 last week after offering Civilization VI a week earlier (curr. $14.95 on Amazon). This time, Epic Games has switched to a pair of well-rated indie games.
On the one hand, this week’s deal includes Keylocker, or Keylocker | Turn Based Cyberpunk Action to go by its full name shown on the Epic Games Store. While the game is only listed as ‘coming soon’ on Epic Games, it typically sells for $19.99 on Steam where it is currently discounted to $13.99. For reference, the turn-based rhythm JRPG has achieved a Very Positive rating on Steam and an 81/100 average on OpenCritic.
On the other hand, Pilgrims averages 83/100 on the same review aggregator but 78/100 on Metacritic. Moreover, Epic’s second giveaway of the week has received an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam. A card-based game, Pilgrims has garnered particular praise for its replayability. This week’s $6.99 giveaway will be available to add to your Epic Games library until 14:59 UTC on August 7, as will Keylocker. Please see Epic Games’ Keylocker and Pilgrims store listings for more details.
