Father and son team on reality game show could win huge £1m prize pot

An adventurous father and son team from Kent will compete for a staggering £1 million prize pot on the latest series of a hit reality show.

Amazon Prime’s 007: Road to a Million is returning to screens for a second series next month.

It will see eight pairs embark on a thrilling 007-inspired global adventure in a bid to scoop the prize money.

One duo has been revealed as father and son, Dan, 46, and Dylan, 22, from Ramsgate and Margate respectively, who decided to take part in order to reconnect.

Dan, a civil servant for the Ministry of Defence, is a cancer survivor who faced life-altering challenges and hopes to make up for lost time.

Bartender Dylan, who has autism and overcame early adversity, is eager to broaden his horizons and create new memories with his dad.

They will be joined by fellow Kent resident, Ricky, from Dartford, an area manager for the National Gas Emergency Service.

Contestants will face epic challenges testing skills and relationships.

Tasks include facing live scorpions in Thailand, scaling Bangkok’s Sinn Sathorn Tower, firing guns in Mexico and diving through shark-infested waters in The Bahamas.

While the slowest pairs face elimination, only one duo will be able to bag the winning seven-figure jackpot in London.

Award-winning Succession and Troy actor Brian Cox returns as The Controller. The 79-year-old’s accolades include a Golden Globe award as well as two nominations for a Bafta.

The eight-part series will launch on Prime Video on August 22.
