The fun kicks off July 29 at 10:00 a.m. to August 3, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time, with Toedscool and its Evolution Toedscruel appearing in Pokémon GO for the first time. Additionally, Shiny Wiglett is wiggling its way into Pokémon GO, with lucky Trainers potentially encountering a Shiny Garden Eel Pokémon!

There’s loads of amazing Pokémon GO Adventure Week research opportunities, including Field Research, Timed Research, and paid Timed Research. Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available throughout the event, and Trainers can complete these tasks to earn Stardust, Rare Candy, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon. Trainers can take on free Timed Research to earn rewards including Incense, Rare Candy, encounters with event-themed Pokémon, and more. Timed Research tasks must be completed and rewards claimed before August 3, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Last but not least, paid Timed Research is available for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Rewards for this research include three Lucky Eggs, four Rare Candies, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon. Paid Timed Research must be completed and rewards claimed before August 3, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
