Firefighters have once again been called to a blaze at a derelict school which has become a target for suspected arson attacks.
Thick black smoke could be seen coming from the former St John Fisher building in Ordnance Street, Chatham.

It has been empty since both school campuses were closed in February 2022 and pupils were moved to a new complex at the bottom of City Way.
The emergency services have been called to fires in the building several times since then.
Six engines were called to the school at the start of the month when people living or travelling near the area were warned to close their windows and doors due to heavy smoke.

This warning has been issued again as crews tackle the latest fire, while a crowd of people gather in the street outside.
One witness said: “Thick black smoke can be seen pretty much across Chatham.
“There are crowds of people who have turned out to watch the fire crews deal with the situation.

“There are at least five fire engines here assisted by police.”
Kent Fire and Rescue have confirmed there are now ten fire engines and a height vehicle in attendance.
A spokesman said: “People living or travelling near Ordnance Street in Chatham are being advised to close their windows and doors due to a fire at a derelict building.”
One Ordnance Street resident, who did not want to be named, said he has reported safety issues at the site.
He said: “Children keep breaking in and causing anti-social behaviour.
“The day before yesterday children were throwing desks and radiators out the window. Police and fire came but then 10 minutes later the children were back.
“Police, fire and residents have reported these countless issues. I wonder how much it costs every time someone is called out?”
