‘Dead by Daylight: The Walking Dead’ Available Now for PC, Consoles [Trailer]

The Walking Dead finally makes the jump to Behaviour’s Dead by Daylight today with the launch of the anticipated crossover today. Available on PC and consoles, Dead by Daylight: The Walking Dead brings Rick, Michonne, and Daryl (via Legendary Outfit) into the fold as new Survivors, along with their associated perks.

“Getting the chance to welcome these incredible characters that we all love into the Dead by Daylight universe is a huge thrill for us,” says Dave Richard, Senior Creative Director on Dead by Daylight. “It’s rare that Survivors enter our game with an existing connection that runs this deep. Not only are they the perfect duo to take on The Entity’s Realm based on their skills and experiences, but they’ve also got this very unique relationship for two Dead by Daylight Survivors which we’re excited to represent.”

And while there’s no new map with this chapter, the new available Map Tile recreates some of The Walking Dead’s most iconic settings. Appearing whenever Rick or Michonne are loaded into the Garden of Joy map, the new tile features elements from the prison – as seen in The Walking Dead’s third and fourth seasons – as well as the iconic “Don’t Open Dead Inside” hospital doors from the Pilot episode, “Days Gone Bye.” The entire tile has been corrupted by The Entity’s presence, creating an eerie mashup between the two horror worlds.

Dead by Daylight: The Walking Dead is available now for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Windows Store.
