Venture into the Hyper-Dungeon of Parvamund, a chaotic dungeon that changes every time you enter, on a perilous quest to recover an ancient relic known as the Sacred Groowl. This pixel-art throwback to the golden age of dungeon crawling promises a world of eccentric characters and formidable foes, all wrapped in a vibrant package of pop culture references and sharp wit!

As the hero or heroine of the story, it’s up to you to decide what kind of adventure you wish to be. Opt for the goal-oriented Explorer who excels in puzzle-solving and stealth, dive right into the role of the Destroyer if you prefer to fight first and ask questions about the story later, or become the Resolver who seeks to uncover Hyper-Dungeon’s lore and talk issues out instead of fighting when possible.

A labyrinthine domain teeming with danger, the procedurally generated Hyper-Dungeon is packed with treacherous traps, brain-scratching puzzles, and a combat system that blends traditional turn-based encounters with arcade action elements. Along the way you’ll also encounter a host of whimsical characters and have interactions laden with references to video games, geek culture, and subcultures galore.

Combat encounters in the Hyper-Dungeon are as much about precise timing as they are tactical know-how. Landing successful attacks will test dungeoneers’ reactions as they try to time their weapon to stop in the hit or critical zones on a ‘swing meter’, with equally sharp reflexes needed to stop enemy attacks by perfectly timing blocks. Master these mechanics to improve weapon proficiency, unlocking up to ten powerful abilities for each type of weapon.

Outside of combat, worthy adventurers can enhance their character in various ways, ranging from more vital inventory slots to boosted health and rage. A robust crafting system also opens up meal cooking, potion concocting, and powerful equipment forging…
