Rail commuters hit with heavy delays after signalling fault

Rail passengers are facing disruption due to a signalling fault.

Services are currently unable to run between Medway stations and Bromley South due to a fault with the system between Sole Street and Farningham Road.

This is also causing disruption through Swanley and Meopham.

Some services are being diverted to run via Dartford, however, others have been cancelled, delayed, or revised.

People will be able to use their tickets at no extra cost on high-speed services to and from London St Pancras International, as well as on the London Underground.

Southeastern is arranging for replacement buses to run between Rochester and Swanley.

Delays are expected to last until 9am. More as we have it.
