A man has been flown to a London hospital after being struck by a vehicle.
Kent Police was called to the A257 Littlebourne Road, Canterbury at 4.25pm yesterday following reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

At least three police cars, paramedics and an air ambulance attended the road near to Canterbury Golf Club.
Paramedics confirmed the man has been taken to King’s College Hospital to be treated for his injuries, including to his chest, pelvis and femur.
The incident led to the route being shut between St Martin’s Hospital and Fordwich for several hours for investigative work.
The road eventually reopened at 9.45pm.
The air ambulance has been contacted for more information.
