Evo 2025 has officially unveiled its complete game lineup and broadcast schedule, locking in three packed days of fighting game action from August 1–3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Earlier in February, Evo kicked off its hype train by announcing eight main stage titles and opening registration. These games represent the cream of the crop in competitive fighting, each backed by major publishers and dedicated communities. The main stage roster includes:
-
Street Fighter 6 (Capcom)
-
TEKKEN 8 (Bandai Namco Entertainment)
-
Mortal Kombat 1 (Warner Bros. Games)
-
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves (SNK)
-
Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising (Cygames)
-
Guilty Gear -Strive- (Arc System Works)
-
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (Capcom)
-
Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes (Arc System Works)
Naturally, the latest entries from major franchises like Tekken, Street Fighter, and Mortal Kombat have earned their expected spots. Meanwhile, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves marks a milestone for SNK’s revived franchise, following its showcase at Evo Japan earlier this year.
Beyond the spotlight of the main stage, Evo’s extended tournament lineup digs deeper into community favorites and cult classics. Initially, four extended titles were revealed:
-
Rivals of Aether II (Aether Studios)
-
The King of Fighters XV (SNK)
-
BlazBlue Centralfiction (Arc System Works)
-
Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 (Arc System Works)
Today, the list grows with four additional extended games, further amplifying the diversity on offer:
-
CAPCOM vs. SNK 2 (Capcom)
-
Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. (Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio/Sega)
-
Samurai Shodown (SNK)
-
Killer Instinct (Rare)
According to community feedback and Evo tradition, these extended tournaments typically thrive on grassroots support, allowing niche games to shine alongside the industry giants. For example, Rivals of Aether II, the only platform fighter in the lineup, gained its slot thanks to its passionate indie fanbase.
Evo 2025 will continue to stream all tournaments live on Twitch via the official channel twitch.tv/evo. A detailed broadcast schedule has been released, outlining the streaming times for all featured games across the three-day event. All times will follow Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), the local time zone for Las Vegas.
