Luton Town vs Tottenham confirmed team line-ups – Mikey Moore starts

Tottenham Hotspur face Luton Town in their second pre-season friendly of the day before they head overseas to continue their preparations.

Head coach Thomas Frank has had a busy day, having also watched some of his Tottenham players draw 2-2 with Wycombe Wanderers in a separate friendly earlier this morning with Pape Matar Sarr scoring both goals.

The two clubs have been in recent dialogue after Luton completed the signing of Josh Keeley on a permanent transfer.

Today is Luton’s final friendly of their pre-season as they begins their preparations for a campaign in League One following their relegation from the Championship.

What is the Tottenham team vs Luton Town?

In Tottenham’s 2-0 win against Reading last weekend, Thomas Frank decided to give 22 players 45 minutes each at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

With the final members of the Tottenham first-team squad, including Mathys Tel, Wilson Odobert and Archie Gray having reported back, Frank decided to split his squad for two separate matches to ensure his players get sufficient minutes into their legs.

Frank selected the likes of Heung-min Son, Cristian Romero, Richarlison, Ben Davies and Pedro Porro to appear in the earlier fixture.

There is no Dominic Solanke in the match day squad which will certainly raise an eyebrow over any potential fitness issues.

This is the Tottenham team which faces Luton Town:

Tottenham Hotspur: Vicario, Spence, Van de Ven, Danso, Udogie, Bissouma, Gray, Moore, Tel, Johnson, Kudus

Subs: Kinsky, Gunter, Scarlett, Donley, Yang, Lankshear, Devine, Kyerematen, Byfield, Rowswell, Russell-Denny, Olusesi

Who do Tottenham also play in pre-season?

Following the match at Kenilworth Road, Tottenham are next in action on July 31st when they face North London rivals Arsenal in Hong Kong.

Following the Arsenal clash, a match against Newcastle United in Seoul will take place, before heading back to Europe for yet another pre-season date with Bayern Munich.

Preparations step up another notch when Tottenham play PSG in the UEFA Super Cup final on August 13th, with the Premier League campaign starting four days later with the visit of Burnley to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham fans will be hoping the club can get their act together in the transfer market and get some further quality players through the door prior to the PSG match.
