BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – With the release of the new Superman movie and Fantastic 4 coming soon, the comic book industry is looking up.
That’s even after recent hits, including Diamond Comics Distributors declaring bankruptcy.
There will always be loyal fans and great interest in comic books.
“We see a lot of people coming in, random people buying comics. But anytime there’s a popular movie coming out, that definitely creates a little surge of comic book interest,” said Dragon’s Den Gaming Owner Allen Walker.
According to Walker, their comic books cater to both collectors and readers.
“And it’s an excellent way to get even children reading,” he said. “There’s no age limit to comics. I mean, people love their heroes.”
