New Story Trailer Released for Dinosaur FPS ‘FEROCIOUS’ [Watch]

After giving fans a taste of what’s to come with the open playtest back in May, developer OMYOG has made an appearance at the Games Forged in Germany event, revealing a brand-new story trailer for their upcoming dinosaur FPS, FEROCIOUS. The new trailer reveals more about the game’s protagonist, Sam, who is stranded on a deadly island after a monstrous attack at sea, now fighting to survive and rescue his brother from the clutches of a ruthless private military company. And dinosaurs just so happen to be roaming around to complicate matters.

For those who missed out on the playtest, don’t worry. The June Steam Next Fest demo for FEROCIOUS is still available for you to check out.

As mentioned, the game sees Sam wake up on an uncharted island that holds ancient ruins and apex predators, where every element of the environment shapes your fight for survival. Engage in relentless combat with mercenaries, dinosaurs, and even mechas. To do so, you’ll need to craft weapons and gear using resources from the environment, tailoring your arsenal to suit your approach.

You’ll also need to explore the island carefully to uncover hidden paths, secrets, and essential gear. Turn the wild to your advantage: control dinosaurs to attack enemies, open paths, or infiltrate guarded areas.

No release date has been announced for FEROCIOUS, which is currently in development for PC via Steam.
