The headline says it all, Dear Reader; I haven’t pulled together one of these release round-ups for a couple of weeks now. As a result, there was nearly a fortnight’s worth of games for me to sift through. A situation of my own making, I concede, but one that meant that the planning part of this article took quite some time.
Before we get stuck into the latest roguish round-up, let’s get the rules out of the way. Naturally, I include roguelikes, roguelites, and rogue adjacent games (for example, I know Descenders Next isn’t a roguelite, but it does have a heavy emphasis on proc-gen, so I’m including it).
As for what we don’t include: there are no demo builds, prologue releases, porno games, stuff made using AI, and there’s no shovelware. These days, I try and be somewhat selective, to keep things manageable for everyone.
